Aug. 15 was a very busy ministry week. I went to the hospital and met the
newest member of our group weighing in at 9 lbs. 2 oz. Both Mom and baby are
doing great and came over last night for dinner. Thanks for
praying. It was a week to eat out too, including a birthday dinner, a
discipleship lunch, dinner with a couple from the House, a lunch after helping
one woman with health challenges run some errands, a Hospitality House dinner at
the Park, and an outing with two women from the House.
Thank you for praying for my early birthday trip to
Auschwitz & Krakow Poland last weekend which was sobering but good. It was
informative to see and hear things from the Polish perspective, and the Oscar
Schindler Factory Museum was one of the best I’ve experienced. It was a time of
ministry too as I had in depth time with my traveling companion who is in my
Tuesday study. We had some good spiritual discussions.
